A Rotary Manipulator is an attachment that can fit to the lower end of a Cartesian Z, strut, providing 6 degrees of movement that will enable refined positioning of a pressure probe, microphone or other flow survey device. This is used to position the probe into parts of the survey volume, such as under a wheel arch or exhaust tail pipe that the main traverser can’t easily reach. These units are fully automatic and integrated with main traverser control system.
