Aerotech was commissioned by the UK Ministry of Defence to design, manufacture and install two medium sized towing tank and force measurement systems for testing model ships, specifically for Naval Engineering student use, at the Royal Naval Engineering College, RNEC Plymouth, UK and the Brittania Royal Naval College, BRNC Dartmouth, UK. Substructures for both systems were designed as triangular, three wheeled carriages for stability and smooth running.
